It was just another pastel-painted morning on the lively streets of Havana. Salsa music echoed through the alleyways, a green Chevy creaked around a corner, and the scent of plantains wafted through the air. Everything felt... normal. That is, until the sky broke open with the silent glide of a glowing blue saucer.
Enter: the Cowardly Lion.
Not from this city. Not from this century. And definitely not ready for an intergalactic showdown.
Transported from Oz in what he thought was just a dream about bravery training, the Lion found himself smack in the middle of Cuba, paws up, mouth wide, and eyes locked on the unidentified flying object spinning silently above. “It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane… It’s DEFINITELY NOT KANSAS,” he roared, trying his best not to faint.
Tourists dropped their mojitos. A man on a bicycle nearly veered into a street performer. And somewhere, someone yelled, “¡Extraterrestres!” But the Lion, with his bow a bit askew and his heart beating like a drum solo, stood tall (ish).
He wasn’t sure what the aliens wanted—but he knew one thing: he wouldn’t let the people of this vibrant city face it alone. Even if he trembled the whole time.
After all… maybe true courage is pointing up at the unknown—and not running.
