Kindred Kameo – Custom 8" x 10" Vintage Portrait

Kindred Kameo was created by Pamela A. Karanova from the idea that sometimes the photograph we wish existed simply doesn’t.

Using two, three, or more separate photographs, I create a custom vintage-style black-and-white portrait that brings people together in one meaningful image, even if that shared photograph was never possible in real life. The finished design is then turned into a tangible 8" x 10" canvas keepsake made to hold onto, display, and pass down.

Kindred Kameo was inspired by my own experience as an adoptee and my lifelong wish to have a photograph with my biological parents. While it holds special meaning for adoptees, it is not exclusively an adoptee project. It can also be meaningful for NPEs, MPEs, LDAs, people separated from biological family, those remembering someone who has passed away, or anyone wishing they had one special photograph connecting them with someone important to them.

Each Kindred Kameo is created individually from the photographs you provide, with an emphasis on preserving the recognizable features of the people while giving the finished portrait a timeless, vintage feel.

TURNAROUND TIME DISCLAIMER: Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for the entire Kindred Kameo process, including the creation of your custom artwork, proof approval, printing, production, and delivery. Because each portrait is individually created and requires time and attention before being sent to print, this is not an instant or rush-order product. Shipping and carrier delivery times are outside of my control and cannot be guaranteed. If you are ordering for a birthday, holiday, anniversary, or other special occasion, please order well in advance. I cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date.

Because each Kindred Kameo requires significant time and individual design work, all preview images and proofs will be clearly marked with “PROOF.” The proof is provided ONLY so you can review and approve your custom design before your canvas is sent to print.

The unmarked, high-resolution digital version of your completed design is NOT included with your purchase and will not be provided or released.

Once you approve your proof, the final unmarked design will be sent directly for production of your physical canvas print.
